I wanted you to tell me the truth,
But you said it'd only hurt me,

And then I asked about the lies,
And asked if you thought they didn't affect me;

I said
How could you be so cold,
So stupid,
Why couldn't you just let me go?
And now you won't even give me the truth,
When it's all I want to know.

I didn't deserve to be played,
Or lied to,
Or hurt;
But I do deserve the truth.
