Fairytale deception

by Mrs Sparrow   Oct 29, 2007

Dark clouds serenade,
bolts of lightening jolt me down with hard conviction
torment me with your tempest,
aid my rest from this toxic confliction

This disease running through my veins,
taking hold of my body with all its corruption
How can this serpents poison be convivial,
when its excruciating pain bares no compassion

The fairytales perception of love and its connection
were always perverse in their means of bitter deception

The poem was good, but in the first stanza, the rhyming seemed forced.
