Liquid Desire

by Georgi   Oct 29, 2007

She carries hair like blackened sins,
And subtle lines of crimson twins.
A softer blush across her bones
Electrifies her pale tones.

Protection lay in perfect shape
Above the holes where tears escape,
While endless drops of liquid trust
Fall like spears of crystal dust.

A heart of sewed up golden lace,
Reveals love through one embrace,
As eyes of steel in sockets bare
Deflate her lungs of sour air.

She yearns for his outstanding kiss,
To be held close in wondrous bliss.
But dreams are held for when she sleeps,
And not for shattered hearts to keep.

The last stanza of this blew my mind.
It is amazing how people keep to their dreams, to hide from the pains reality brings.
tehe, what do ya know, that rhymed.
    rhyming or not, its true.
    amazing and beautiful
your choice of words to rhyme were stunning, especially how everything flowed together into one complet story.
