The Devils lesson

by Phoenix   Oct 30, 2007

The devil he lies on top of you
Taunting and mocking with his eyes
Stealing the very life of you
Calming you with his lies

Letting you know just who is in charge
And showing you who is weak
He puts you in you place with
One finger layed upon your cheek

The darkness is haunting consuming all
And out of it his clawed hand will reach
A line across the wrist it cuts
Giving you your lessons he dose teach

Vicious whispers surround you as
People point and people stare
Calling you a freak, loser, a weirdo
Showing you only one truly cares

His red eyes hold you cruelly
As each night your skin he marrs
Leaving you with a whispered kiss
To dream among the stars

Everyone wants to fix you
When your not at all broken
Out he comes a finger placed on your lips
As he whispers in your ear, the final lesson spoken

And like the good pupil you are
You get right to your task
Warm liquid rushes like the tide
"Goodbye" the final words spoken at last
