Setting up for Trick or Treaters

by Mr Anonymous   Oct 30, 2007

Once a year,
Every October
I get bratty kids in costumes,
Knocking on my door

They demand for candy
They won't leave me alone!
I shouldn't have to cower in the kitchen,
This is MY home

I tell them to get away,
I'll yell at them
Throw things at them
But they just keep coming,
Even to this day!

So I put the old sign up,
On the front lawn
The one that says "Trick or Treaters will be shot"
And a 'Beware of Cougar' sign on the wall

I don't have a pumpkin,
Or any decorations
It's just my plain old house
I shut all the lights out

So, let's see if anyone will knock on the door
Bring it on, kids!
It's time for war!
