Bruises On My Heart

I've got bruises on this broken heart of mine
And they just wont go away.
I'm still here waiting for this to end,
I wish I could at least have you as a friend.

It hurts to be alive without you by my side,
You haven't a clue how much this is true.
I wish I could make you understand
That without in my life, I don't think I can make it.

Did you ever even care about me at all?
Did you once think about how I would feel?
This pain seems like it's just so unreal,
I'm really not sure how to deal with it anymore.

Some say I'm better off without you here,
But the day I lost you my world fell apart.
I never thought you would leave me all alone,
But all of my memories of us are finally fading away.

    Once again you've written a love poem straight from the heart and I feel your pain. The flow was great and the word choice as well - a couple lines are missing a word but other then that it was excellent - 5/5 GG23
