Blackened Faith

When I was little and if I cried
There you would be
By my side
Helping me
Understand that everyone is afraid

I understand today
That I am afraid to say goodbye
You mean so much
That it is not possible for me to say it
I need you

Don't die on me now
I've come so far
I can't bare to lose
What I see
Inside

If you die
I shall die as well
Leaving my heart pittless as before
He left me and so are you
Please don't leave me.

My grandmother is dying in the nursing home. I go to visit her every Saturday and the days I don't have school. It kills me slowly to see her this way, but as I look in her eyes, I know my time with her is about up.
