Will you love her
When you're crossing the line
Of police tape
Marking of where her body lies?

And when the tell you to step back,
Only family can come close,
Will you be hating yourself because of
Everything you failed to notice?

And they'll turn over her arm
With the blood running down,
And carefully read what she scratched
Before placing the limb back onto the ground;

"I loved you More than Life"
Marked into her skin,
"But I regret ever knowing you,
Regret letting you in"

Will your face go white
As you come to realize the fact,
That you're the reason why
She's laying dead on her back.
