Monday -

Waking after yesterday,
Trying to grip reality,
Can't believe you did that,
Why'd you decide to leave me?

Getting out of bed,
Acting like everything is fine,
Hoping into the shower,
Trying to waste some time.

What to do today,
Now that I don't have you,
Monday was our "Slurpie day",
But I'm sure there's better things to do.

Ringing up my friends,
But they all claim to be busy,
I suppose thats what I should expect,
After I ditched them so effortlessly.

Turn on the tv,
But there's nothing new,
And every single channel,
Has something to remind me of you.

Brushing my teeth,
Turn of the light,
A little prayer to god,
Maybe I'll sleep tonight.
