When he looked in my eyes,
Where blue met the brown
When I thought in his arms
Comfort could be found

When time after time
He could enter my heart
When he made the sun shine
Though my whole world was dark

When he read my mind
Though I said not a word
When I talked, he listened
All my thougths he heard

When I looked at my future
I thought he'd be there
When I dreamed of tomorrow
I thought he'd still care

When we were together
I thought he was fun
When I thought of forever
I thoguht he was the one

He wasn't....

When my world came crashing
He broke not my fall
When I needed a friend,
I received not his call

When I prayed for his comfort
There were no arms
When danger came calling
He let me be harmed

When tears rushed down
They fell to the floor
When I came knocking
He closed all his doors

When I dream of tomorrow
I know I'm alone
When I look for help
I'm now on my own

When all seemed lost
I thought he was the sun
When I thought of forever
I thought he was the one
