Hold On

by PygmyPuff   Oct 30, 2007

Hold on my, sweet dear.
Hold on to your integrity.
Even if the ground is cold.
Hold on to your pride, my pretty.
Even if the shouts are heard,
Hold on to your treasures.
Even if the walls begin to fall,
Hold on to yourself, your pleasures.
Even if you want to give up
Hold on to your respect, self dignity and honor.
Even when you live on the streets of New York
your life may be complete.

Interesting and truly inspirational. I found a lot of positivity in these lines. Nicely written, with message greatly highlighted.
