Our "love"

We see it in the movies,
It's always shown on TV,
All artists sing about it,
Yet it means nothing to me.
It's strange that I don't feel it,
This strong pull they illustrate.
For some reason you and me,
Just don't have what it takes.
That unquestionable love,
That lasts forever and beyond,
The chemistry you can't explain,
That unbreakable bond.
Our 'love' (if thats what you want to call it)
Is nothing like on TV,
We put up with each other,
That doesnt mean we are happy.
When I talk you dont listen,
When you say something, I dont care.
It seems this thing we call love
Isnt getting anywhere.
Its been over since it started,
Since it started, weve been deprived.
Lets just get this break-up over with,
And move on with our lives.
