Magnificent Woman

by Sam   Oct 31, 2007

I dream to be this magnificent woman.
How can I be?
Although others wish to run, I turn and face what Ive created for me..
I refuse to hold a shield and hide.
Lurking behind others will never release the magnificent woman in me.

I am destined to make mistakes in between times.
I may cry, pray, and hurt, but I will be fine.
I am strong, and will remain that way.
Hold my head up, go for it, and keep the faith.
God knows I am not perfect; I also remember to never regret.
You are supposed to learn for a reason.
Life is not life without that.

People reach for my guidance because I have been through their phase.
Isnt that something you come to me and Ive already had my day?
The God in the heavens knows who to send us to.
Helping and holding us so that we may make it through.
One mistake many may have today;
The act of forgiving; letting it shade.
It is hard to do this.
Trust me, I know.
Putting yourself in their shoes, will help this unfold.
Forgive yourself before others can forgive you.
Do not hold things over someone's head; I'm just feeding you the truth.

How others see me now may change along my path.
But, there are others, who will remain to always say,
She is a magnificent woman; stands for something, and just special in all her ways.
