My little world of emotion. Gone.

by Four Letter Lie   Oct 31, 2007

I feel the chilling wind blow through my hair,
Looking, I see dead tree's, clouds forming in the sky.
A bat soars above my head. Alone.
I twist around to see a shadow. Guilt.
It slowly moves to wards me, creeping silently.
The cold dead ground, Grey like my lonely soul.
The shadow approaches, I see its person. Death.
He comes up to me, stands besides me,
And whispers in my ear,
"Your not alone anymore."
Suddenly I feel like I'm falling,
The figure grabs my hand,
Catches me, saves me.
I'm lost inside this world,
With my only true friend. Happy.
He pulls me up. Remembered.
Then silently he walks away. Departed.
I ask "Where are you going?"
He drifts back to wards me and whispers,
"Home."

I really loved these lines, they gave me chills. It has a little bit of a problem with flow in some places, but i think its a really good write. Awesome idea.
