I am sitting here,
With you so close and near.
I can't believe I am holding your hand,
And it wasn't something I had to demand.
I feel your body next to mine,
The lights in your eyes shine.
I look at your face,
Your lips,
Your cheeks.
When my eyes are distracted by yours,
They open my heart like french doors.
I fall further into this tunnel of love,
All around you I see this dove.
I hug you and never want to let go,
I am sure that this you know.
But I must because your back home,
We leave and now I am alone.
I think about the night,
And out comes this beautiful light.
It stays with me as I sleep,
No longer can my eyes weep.
I am in so deep I still feel you here,
