Within Me

by Oracle   Nov 1, 2007

Memories of a long ago night still linger around
Hearts ache for a warm touch
The vulnerable body declines the softness of the lily
A longing for the kiss of hate, sorrow, and disgrace
Must there be solitude when there is only bliss?
Hail falls and obscures the night's heavenly light
The shadows dance with one another and create a being
All dreaming must cease and turn to its polar opposite
Can there really be satisfaction outside the realm of fantasy?
