He always asks her how she is
Every time her reply is fine
But that's far from what the reality is
She's really dieing inside
And every time they talk
It just seems to make it worse
She tries to but up a mental block
Just to escape this curse
He causes her so much pain
Too much heartache for her to bear
Because of him her tears fall like rain
But he doesn't seem to care
He just goes on like nothing happened
And she wishes she could do the same
But despite her wishing nothing happens
She loves him still the feeling remains
But he broke her heart
Into a million pieces it was shattered
She tries to put back together each and every part
Though no matter how hard she tries it remains tattered
