I'm in love

The moon shines down on us
As we sit on a grass green hill
our hearts filled with lust
As we watch the sky's many wonders

His hand falls in my palm
and I trace his veins with my thumb
The night is so very calm
save for the crickets that chirp their midnight song

I rest my head on his shoulder
and he puts his strong arm around me
I feel so safe and secure
I feel so loved and now, finally, I see
How feeling this way makes you feel

I'm in love with the most romantic person
So modest, so kind, the best you'll ever meet
And I'll love him forever,
until dawn and dusk collide...

    This is a pretty good poems ive read your others as well and they are all really well written... lack some rythm but not every poem needs a beat... and some times they carry a ryhme and somtimes not but ryhmes are like a rythm not always needed.... youre a good writer
