Learning

Strength be constant I need you here
Dont falter, though your weak
I know your tired and need to rest
Not long before you sleep.

The string should be threadbare
Through all the dangling I have done
The chains weak with wear
The ties now undone.

Brain, my heart is tricking you,
it says what you want to hear
Ignore the lies, seek clarity,
you are my preferred company

Heart be honest, stop the lies, so much disparity,
Your craving attention and constant need
is tiring me.

He is not worth your effort heart
one day you will see
You will have your moment
when you stop loving him
And start loving me.
