Longing

by PennyM850   Nov 2, 2007

How do I tell you what
my heart feels?

I have no words....
I miss your body,
your mouth
I miss the most intimate parts of you
melting into me...
filling me up.

The night has no answer for me.
It is my enemy
I am alone, needing you.
Yet I feel you, needing me too
and that somehow comforts me.

A million stars light up the sky
But with all their brilliance
Not one can tell me when
I'll hold you again.

I long for one more moment of
your touch....
I need it,
Like a flower needs the rain;
Like a sail needs the wind.

Come back.
Come share you....
with me

This poem has depth in abstract words that no person except the writer could understand fully. This is beautifully misterious. your style is out of my depth for i dont tend to write without rhyme or flow. this let me down slightly but soemtimes its more wise to not rhyme for it can turn cliche' and pathetic.

    deep deep deep.

you're welcomed to this site with open arms. keep writing your little heart out.
