Have you seen his pain?

by Poet on the Piano   Nov 2, 2007

Have you seen him laugh and cry?
He does it the same time,
Trying to hide his fears,
Yet still being so dear.

Have you seen his eyes?
Hiding something deep inside,
Filled with so much feeling,
That he's trying not to feel.

Have you seen him smile?
The way he tries,
To lift a small smile,
When he can barely live.

Have you seen him talk?
Trying to move his lips,
That are frozen with terror.
Trying to start a conversation,
Without crying his heart out.

Have you seen his heart?
Beating against his chest,
At a abnormal pace,
Trying to fit into place.

What his he hiding?
I may never know,
But the question,
I ask other people,
Is have you seen his pain?
