Lying in my arms
Your tiny features
Make you look so calm.

You tiny button nose
And beautiful blue eyes
You were so tired
You didn't even cry.

Cute dungarees
Your little blue hat
You were so perfectly still
In my arms you sat.

The angels from heaven
Watch from above
God and his angels
Send down their love.

For the newborn baby
The worlds miracle
Bringing happiness and love
To all the family.

From you little baby
Never a cry or scream
Wonder if you will grow up
To be big, tough , mean.

Having your baby smell,
Your lines of black hair,
So prefect in my arms,
Everyone wanted to stare.
