I am me

I am not selfish, egotistical, narcissistic, nor conceited. I am confident.
I am not malevolent, nor malicious, evil, nor spiteful. I am compassionate.
I am neither dull nor insensitive. I am fastidious and incisive.
Yes, I have swindled. I have deceived and Ive misled.
I have harmed and Ive hurt. Is there no hope for me?
I suppose there is. For I have learned thru it all.
I havent always chosen the right path,
But the wrong one became my muse.
Ive loved this journey.
I have loved this life.

    I really like one a whole lot....almost explains how I feel. Seems to me like people misundertand you all the time, but in all honest you are just you. Like you, I've made some bad decisions, some I regret and some I don't. But all that's happend in my life thus far, shaped me and you. Keep up the good work:)

    Very well written ,and not always easy to admit ones flaws.Life is like one long lesson and so long as you learn from it and enjoy it then thats all that matters.

    This poem really connects to many people. We view ourselves as good people, but we also point out our flaws, this poem really exemplifies this. I like it.
