God, I'm bored.

by Bret Higgins   Nov 3, 2007

Time has stopped.
Nothing to do.
No tick, no tock.
Jaded through and through.
My watch stands still.
My brain starts to stew.

Just sip on my tea.

Gadgets all around me.
I can't decide.
X-box, TV, Internet.
No motivation inside.
Trees, fresh air, people.
All passing me by.

Wallow in me.

'No motivation inside.' That line annoyed me... Its a very realistic poem, written for the spirit of writing it, and in all fairness it was written out of boredom. It would be better if you edited out the apostrophe. This site is annoying in its rejection of those, but we just have to adapt I guess. Ah the second stanza/line rhymes with the last, very clever...if people notice. Thats all, the rhyme pattern is clever, and the one word sentences are awesome...
