Winter Flower

by Wings Of Flames   Nov 3, 2007

Pearly skin of grace,
Flowing dress dances,
How you'd wish,
For second chances,

Pain thrusts your heart,
But is that all?
For we dismiss our part,
And empires will fall,

Forgiveness goes so far,
With sorrow in our care,
Touch her, whisper cold,
With the lady fair,

Beauty touches eyes,
Taste touches lips,
Touch breaks the heart,
In breaking night eclipse,

Maiden forgotten,
Ignorance is bliss,
While lying, waiting,
For his forbidden kiss.

    Ohh holy crap..I LOVE this.

    This is BEAUTIFUL.

Your opening stanza is so beautifully detailed and really pulls the reader right into the piece, and from thereon it just gets better and better as it goes along.

The use of imagery in this is breathtaking, I found it to be very vivid and pretty, and the ending was beautifully written, very intense and hard hitting.

    Love this!

What an absoutely breathtaking read, unashamed passion, near perfect imaging that allowed journey along throughout, sadness is gorgeous, and ignorance is bliss, so well crafted, a genuinely worthy read, that left me more than satisfied...ROCK!
