Open up the window What do you see? Do you see me looking at you It's not so easy Being on the outside Always looking in Troubles that surround me Separate me from sin I know i'm far from perfect But i try so very hard To be the one on the inside To have the lucky card To see things from the surface Of this very shallow world Take it in your hands And try to unfurl Is it to much to ask To open the door Let me on the inside And try not to ignore Can I step foot into the warmth Escape the surface of cold? Is it ok to ask? Or is that just too bold? Am I missing something Or is everyone unperfect? So why am I the one People willfully neglect? Open up the window What do you see? Do you see the imperfection That happens to be me?
