Untitled

by Viola   Nov 3, 2007

I'm standing at the side of the road,
Watching the world go by,
Awaiting my turn to cross.
Through the crowd,
I see your face.

Without a warning
My heart stops beating
...I'm falling...

I feel the barriers of my heart
Ripping,
I see the colours in the sky
Gleaming,
And suddenly,
It's all too clear.

-I'm in love-

And then you smile,
I'm loosing touch.
The ground is moving,
From beneath my feet--
It's getting hard to breathe.

I know it really shouldn't mean a thing,
But every time you walk by,
I get lost in a dream.
(When will I wake up?)

There are all these reasons,
Floating in my mind,
Of how and why I should have let you go.

-It's been a long time-

But then I hear your voice,
Calling my name,
A perfect sound,
That forms from your lips.

And at that moment,
Nothing else in the world matters.
-You're where I belong-

(How could I ever give this up?)
