Remorse

by Catastrophic Beauty   Nov 4, 2007

Sitting here thinking about you,
Grasping the pen in my hand.
Wondering what's happening,
Hoping you would understand.

I need you to know this one thing,
That I never meant to hurt you.
And I know that sounds cliche,
But it is the honest truth.

I feel like those girls in the movies,
Who fall for all the wrong guys.
When the right one is right there,
But they take too long to realize.

I don't want to be like those girls,
I know I hurt you and I'm sorry.
Just give me another chance,
It won't be a waste, trust me.

I hope you find it in your heart,
To forgive me for what I did.
And I know I tore it apart,
But I promise I'll fix all the pieces.

It's so true that often the things we search for are right infront of our eyes, we just never take the time to notice or appreciate them. Excellent job 5/5 GG23
