Cursed

by Vesper   Nov 4, 2007

Ice-cold winds
And lonely streets
The trees weep
The town is asleep

No light or sound
No life all around
Darkness is here
The morning - nowhere near

Everyone hides
When Death there strides
And with the touch of a hand
Brings life to an end

Cursed is the town
To depend on the dawn
For when the sun goes down
Death walks the town

No help in sight
No cure for this blight
And one sole dream
To see the sun gleam

When morning comes
People leave their homes
Forever living in fear
For with the night Death comes here...
