Grace

I've never felt so fulfilled
Than to have you in my arms,
To know you were Safe
And not in any harm

And If I'd known the struggles
Of which you were to face
I would have saved you then
Its a terrible disgrace

And somehow I feel responsible
Though I am not to blame
I just feel so helpless
I doubt you know my name

Yet you mean so much to me
I love you like my own
The connection was so instant
But the seeds of time are sewn

It may be a while
Before our lives collide
But know that in My heart
Is where you will reside.
