I wish I had someone to love
Someone to hold me when I'm down
I wish I could find that one
Who can make smile instead of frown

I wish I could be so special
As to get a glance from you
I wish I could make it happen
But I don't know what to do

Sometimes I just feel so alone
so down and cold and blue
Thats when I wish the most
I had someone like you

But I'm not anything
Especially not to you
and I can wish and hope and pray
