Is Romance The Price Of 21st Century Entertainment?

by ALEX   Nov 4, 2007

I want a love like my parents have.
A boy to love my qualities, the good and bad.
Is it quite possible, in this day and age?
When that momentary rush is the recipe of our days?
The only ones that appear to have love in their hearts,
Are taken, or gay; just not right for the part.
Except for that one guy, oblivious to you.
With this crazy ability to turn your heart black and blue.
If he'd just write you a letter, filled with words of romance...
Spell out some devotion, and give a girl a chance.
But long gone is the era of courtship and dating...
How can we build love if we're just entertaining?
