Your not suppose to hit your girl
or ever make her cry
so don't get mad when the time comes
when I ask you why

why do you always yell at me
and treat me like you do
why do you call me those names
put me through what I've gone through
your not suppose to hit your girl

or give her any scars
or make her feel like she's locked up
like she is behind bars
but you do it anyway

and I am still with you
I just can work up the courage
to say that we are through

Some times you may be blindsided by what you think is love. Don't let anyone put their hands on you because your better then that.
