Faith At The Crossroads (Collab)

by Italian Stallion   Nov 4, 2007

Walking toward the vivid light
On this black and windy road
Stopping with a sudden halt
Pondering which way to take

Should I go left or right?
Or is this just a test?
Should I say pass,
And keep going to the next?

It is my decision,
To go left or right.
Which way should I choose,
For I don't really know.

My thoughts are sort of dazed.
In the distance I see a light,
I shall choose the left.
For maybe this road will lead me back to you.

This reminds me of something that I've written before I think. I like the questions you asked in this and the imagery you created within it. I've felt such love in the poems I have read of yours, it is really sweet to read. I like the concept in this too.. it is somewhat original. Nice write.

I loved it! We all come to a split road and do not know which route to take. Some seem appealing while others scare the bee gees out of us. The way you protrayed this confused emotion was beautiful. The last stanza was a beautiful way to end your poem. Well done *5/5*
