He Didn't Know

by Katerina   Nov 5, 2007

Blood drops down his naked hands
Falls onto the forgetful sand.
Drink up the pain she left behind.
He only wish he could rewind time.

So many memories of love and smiles
Were all replaced by pain and denial
He took away what was left of her life.
And broke her heart more than twice.

He didn't know, till she was gone,
All the love that was hanging on.
The silence filled a greater pain,
One that could drive a man insane.

He wanted to say all that was unsaid,
But who would listen?
Everyone was dead.
He placed a finger on her cold lips.
If only he could have had one last kiss.
