The weird thing is, it fits the moment, you know?
The engine running, a big flash in my eyes
When I woke up, I could hear her cries
"Doctor please! Please help her!" I heard her say
What does she mean? I'm okay!
Trying to open my eyes, she stands over me
She was the saddest I've ever seen
The next day in school, I was walking down the hallway
I saw my friend Mike, and I said "Hey"
He didn't turn around, I guess he didn't hear
I don't even think he knew I was near
I said his name, and he stopped walking then
Before I could say more, the clock struck ten
The bell rang, and he turned around
He saw nothing at all, though I was waving my hands 'round
A few hours after, I saw him again
Why is he ignoring me? I thought we were friends
I said his name, then screamed it out loud
He covered his ears and turned around
He shook his head, in disbelief
What the heck? Doesn't he see me?
"MIKE!" I screamed, he turned again, and this time his eyes got wide
I think he saw me, but why? It's not like I died!
I could hear him whispering "Taylor, is that you?"

"Taylor, where are you?" He started to say

Then he nodded and walked away, so I walked through the door

I could see tears in Jalissa's eyes, why was she crying?
Because of what happened yesterday? About me dying?
Wait, what?! How did I die?

I ran into the hallway, screaming Mike's name
He came out, and finally saw me, and said my name
"What happened to you?" He whispered "How come I can see you?"

"You need to help me," I said, "Please, I don't know what to do"
He whispered back, "How? I can barely even see you.."
A second later, I find myself in this old broken down house
The only living thing was that little white mouse
I saw Mike and Jalissa walk in, him calling out
I said "I'm right here" and I started to shout
"What was that?" I heard Jalissa say
"It's Taylor," Mike said, "She's okay!"
Jalissa started to stutter, then she saw me
A smile on her face with a tear in her eye, she still wasn't happy
In her hand I could see a white necklace in the shape of a heart
Then I knew, she was prepared from the start
She gave it to me, and I put it on
All of the sudden, I felt really strong
I saw my figure coming to form, and I gave a smile
I knew what was happening, I waited for a while
I felt myself faint, and when I opened my eyes
I could hear Jalissa's cries
"I can't believe it" I heard her say
I saw Mike smile and I knew it, I was okay.
I shot up in my bed, with sweat on my for head
For a second I thought I was actually dead
But anything can happen, and there's nothing you can do
