Gang violence is all around us
its everywhere we go
you usually just look past it
until it affects someone you know
shootings stabbings DEATH
friends falling left and right
for all the friends we've lost
you'll be in our prayers tonight
you wonder how it happened
or how it could have been solved
if only you had been there
to tell them not to get involved
you see these crying faces
mourning for their lost friend
yet though you didnt know them
you still feel sad in the end
Where is it that we live in?
if not in a world of peace
Doesnt all this death and sadness
show you gang voilence needs to cease!
