Words

As we laughed
and giggled,
I said to you once ,
Be careful !
this is a sulfur match ,
and we are bales of hay
soaked in gasoline,
Laughing you kissed me ,
silencing my words
of caution.!

As we dreamed
and prayed
I said to you then
Be Careful!
This is a massive bon-fire ,
and our hearts hopes
the fuel,
Dreaming you grabbed my hand
pointed out the castles floating,
chasing away my words
of caution!

As I lay alone consumed
by longing
I said to myself then
Be Careful!
This is a raging inferno,
and faith and Passion
its fuel,
"Self , "
I replied
in blind trust
" too late now for words
of caution"
