Against her beliefs

She loves him so much
she dont know what to do
the test showed up positive
would he want this to be through?

The look on his face said it all
scared to death as so was she
it was against their beliefs
but this baby just couldn't be

The weeks before the procedure
life was so very different
mood swings and sickness everyday
that was how the day went

The small things hurt so much
though never bothered her before
everything became so tough
she was upset more and more

The day had came
the forms were filled out
now she could see what the action she had stood against for years before
was all about

the wait was so long
the nerves were on edge
she never dreamed she would go against
everything that went against her pledged

The ultrasound showed seven weeks
she still couldn't believe
the life inside her was real
to have this baby gone would be a reprieve

Everyday since she wonders if it was right
sometimes she cries n cries
the hardest thing to her is
she let her Maker down that lives in the skies
