Life is a race

by edbonney   Nov 6, 2007

Life is a race,
that moves with the swift,
the slow try to catch up,
but sometimes they fall.
Others stumble because of little stones
which through correct pacing can be overcomed.

But indeed,
Life has placed every runner on his track.
Life is in steps and not in escalators.
On the boom of the gun,
every individual runs his own course

People have started well;
others have not.
People have finished the race,
others are now beginning.
Where are you in this race of life?
