I forgive you now. RIP poem

by Michelle   Nov 6, 2007

And now that your gone I am all in pain
the sun is behind the clouds and here comes the rain
you collapsed in your house on an innocent day
and now i say good bye to you, in the casket you lay

my hero, my heart, my best friend in life
wont even be there to watch me become someones wife
you wont even be there to watch me walk to graduate
but i guess god needed you, this is what you call fate

i promise im not mad, we are at peace now
i wish i could be strong for you, but i dont no how
ive lost alot of people this last , long, year
and now i have no more pain, nothing to fear

you are happy now, god has set you free
now you have places to go and people to see
but i promise you now, hold me to this until i die
i will be strong for you, i will try not to cry

i will make you proud and live on in your name
to me you are different from everyone not the same
for a while this is going to be very hard and sad
but thats only because, i only get one dad.

RIP DAD 4.2.60-11.4.07
I love you and miss you forever
