What a very touching poem. How very sad.

A broken heart lives on
Empty are the days
Cold abyss, a lonely soul
On bended knee she prays

This really just hit me so hard.
You have done an awesome job on this poetry form.

Good flow and rhyme...although very sad....

Weathered from the past
Haunted by the memories
Of a love we thought would last

^I liked the repetition in this poem. One of my favourite quotes is "Reality is wrong, dreams are for real" and when I read this it reminded me of it. Love lives on eternally in our dreams. A beautiful poem.

This was a good piece, but again I thought that the beginning was the strongest, and that the piece lost its power as it went on, which is actually rather common. I loved the first stanza, it was wonderful, perfect. I also really liked the second stanza.

The wings of our memories never fail to bring us to that place where our hearts lay bouyed.
