My slippery aisle

by rachelle   Nov 7, 2007

Every point in my life
turns out confusing; unclear.
Heartaches that won't disintegrate
vulnerability that continues to reappear.
I walk my life
on a slippery aisle.
Lies full of deceit
makes my environment so vile.
Grasping the air
that doesn't catch my falls.
Giving in to defeat
I stay down to crawl.
The others walk so gracefully
as they're able to get around.
I'm here stuck getting up
every time I'm constantly pushed back down.
My aisle remains shattered
broken into difference pieces of directions.
No matter which i choose
I end up with misfortunes.
With no helping hand
I stay bruised and practically lifeless.
The slippery aisle I'm destined to walk
has stolen away my happiness.
