Beneath the stars (Monchielle)

Beneath the stars (A sensual poem)

Rose petals in the wind
Sweet scent flows in the air
Pastel colors dancing
So much joy in my heart
A time for romancing

Rose petals in the wind
Such beauty, heaven sent
Transfixed upon your gaze
Never to turn away
Caught within Cupid's maze

Rose petals in the wind
Nights of satin and silk
Fill my head with these dreams
Time will stand still tonight
Heart races to extremes

Rose petals in the wind
Hoping dawn stays away
This special night is ours
Within my arms you sleep
Here underneath the stars

This is the second Monchielle I have read. I have to say that I really like this style of poetry. Yours flowed effortlessly and the wording was sublime. The images you have created are beautiful. A lovely piece.

    Take Care.
