Home of countless sorrows

Home of countless sorrows
To often your name has been cried,
Years of demented tortures it was your name we sighed.

Home of countless sorrows
Legacy entwined with warm bloods loss,
Man's thirst for power decimated lives the cost.

Home of countless sorrows
Screams from truth make blood run cold,
Lost in the lust of the flesh, future in devils hold.

Home of countless sorrows
In things physical or matters of the heart,
writhing twins scorched and burnt flames that never part.

Home of countless sorrows
Death now beckons with a celestial call.
For told journey for the souls of one and all.

Home of countless sorrows
Time to meet our maker, for victory and sorrows toll
How many victories have you snatched from jaws of sorrows hold.

I loved the wording of this piece the whole way through....

    "Home of countless sorrows
Death now beckons with a celestial call.
For told journey for the souls of one and all."

This Stanza struck home for me.. very sad though well expressed. Great job!
