Cold And Gray Is The Stone

by Cindy   Nov 8, 2007

Cold and gray is the stone
Where my true love lies
Resting deep beneath the ground
No longer hears my cries

Cold and gray is the stone
Engraved with our names
Many years have come and gone
Never more the same

Cold and gray is the stone
As my heart and soul
Needing to lay by your side
To once again feel whole

Cold and gray is the stone
That sits upon the hill
Waiting for lovers to reunite
As destinies fulfilled

When you know a poem has been written from the bottom of someones heart you feel it in your heart too. You are a person who represents strength in their poetry and clearly as a person. I hope you never lose that.

    Take Care.
