A Love Built With Words

by Romantic Lover   Nov 8, 2007

Here's a story of a girl who is madly in love
Each day that goes by her sweetie she's thinking of
Words can not describe the passion that she feels
Each encounter that they have her breath he always steals

But times have definitely changed and many things she's come to realize
But one thing will never change is getting lost in his blue eyes
The relationship that they share is very beautiful yet unique
Here's an insight to their life I'll give you a little peek

It's a relationship of words with each other that they share
Sometimes unspoken, often tell how much they care
But there is the irony in the world they've created
It's a world full of fantasy and one in which she is elated

No moonlight strolls or a walk on the beach
Most of her desires, well they are out of reach
To take a weekend trip or enjoy a private picnic
To cuddle on the sofa and enjoy a romantic flick

All the wonderful things that lovers often do
Is not meant for her, I guess considered taboo
She's built a bond with words, everyone he used to cherish
And when he couldn't respond, his actions often flourish

She's stuck in a dilemma when all she has is words
The only thing to look forward to, would you consider that absurd
Each word, spoken or written, received full attention
Now they float through air, as if up for election

Those words not meant for any other, only for her sweetie
Is her lovestory coming to an end, and she lives with a memory
If that is her destiny, she will enjoy it to the fullest
She's deeply in love with her Prince Charming, "The Handsomest".

    This is so beautiful.

Very heartfelt and moving, and the opening stanza immedieately made me want to continue reading, and from there on it just gets better and better throughout the piece.

I thought flow was good for the most part, but was off in just a couple places, but your beautiful imagery certainly makes up for that.

On the whole, I love this, I found it to be very sweet and touching.

I loved this piece also alot. You write really well with long lines and I always like reading poems which have long lines and are pulled off nicely. The story behind this piece was interesting. Portrayed nicely. Really deep and thoughtful. A powerful piece which I enjoyed reading alot. Well done. ~Mel
