An Endless Ruse.

I've often wondered why people stay with people who abuse them. I watched for five years as my mom was abused by a man. She left but always went back. It got worse and worse, it finally ended when he took a carpet knife to her face, saying if he couldn't look at her face every morning no one would. I was seven.

Written well but ashame many men and women stay through domestic violence.. I have witnessed it and it's awful.

Seen loved ones go through this. And even me though it wasn't physical abuse. It is a vicious cycle...though you words are sad it's the brutal truth! Nice write!
