The Disappearing Act

by Sense   Nov 9, 2007

Why can love loose it's touch
Isn't love suppose to be an unrelenting battle
Instead it fades off like old fashion trends
At one time it made your heart rattle

Now it seems absurd like religion to an atheists
I can't say the 3 delicate words no longer
Today i feel like a death row resident
My past actions couldn't feel wronger

We scream and blister each other's souls
Wondering if we could escape the misery
So what does a broken man's ending conclude
nothing except a torn unfaithful history

This was a good poem, I liked your descriptions, however, it lacked flow in a few areas. Overall, the meaning was not lost however. 4/5
