Pieces

All hope has disappeared,
And the love is gone.
This pain has been hurting,
For way too long.

A hate grows from within.
Until the guilt never goes away.
So much shit piled on and on,
Until the pressure gives way.

Friends are nowhere.
And the truth caves in.
Reality blurs with dreams,
And happiness is a sin.

This solid surface falls off
And what's left can't be found.
Shadows blend with the light,
Ceiling with the ground.

In my head, something snaps.
I can no longer feel.
Blinded by such a rage,
That nothing seems real.

Need to stop thinking,
Peace in mind and soul
But I'm broken into pieces
Never again, to be whole.
